Intrauterine insemination is the technique of processing the male partners semen and extracting good quality sperms which are then transferred to the woman’s womb with the help of a fine catheter.

It is a short and pain free procedure and is indicated mainly in cases of mild to moderate semen abnormailities/endometriosis/unexplained infertility and cases of sexual dysfunction.

The usual success rates are in the range of 15-25% per cycle.
